Human Resources Generalist

HR Generalist aka People Ops Lifeline!

Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of employees while rocking recruiting, HR systems, payroll, and benefits like a pro? We’re adding to our team and looking for an HR Generalist who’s as passionate about information and process integrity as they are about employee happiness. This role is a little bit payroll & benefits aficionado, and a whole lot of recruiting and HR champion!

What You’ll be doing:

Recruiting Whiz: Help us find and hire amazing talent—post jobs, review resumes, conduct phone screens, manage the interview process and onboard for high volume and individual contributor roles.

Employee Advocate: You don’t forget a name or a face! You’ll be a go-to person for all things HR. Support and educate employees while building great relationships. You ensure employees feel valued and supported every step of the way.

Recordkeeping and HRIS Champion: Attendance tracking, spreadsheets and documentation keep us together! Manage and maintain our HRIS database (Paycom!), making sure it’s accurate, secure, and a well-oiled machine.

Payroll Rockstar: Serve as the back-up for payroll and benefits administration. Navigate taxes, deductions, and compliance like a boss.

Compliance Crusader: Stay on top of federal, state, and local laws so we’re always in the clear.

Process Improver: Look for opportunities to make our workflows smoother, faster, and more fun for everyone. Flex your creative problem-solving muscles while improving processes and creating impact.

Culture Crew: We are an interconnected unit and rely on coordination for the mundane and creative alike!  Flourish on an accountable team, focused on delivering results.

What You Need In Your Background:

4+ years of experience in HR and/or Talent Acquisition.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Solid experience in high volume recruiting and exposure to full-cycle recruiting.

Strong knowledge of HRIS administration.

Working knowledge of payroll and benefits administration.

Knowledge of federal, state, and local HR laws.

A collaborative spirit and willingness to jump in wherever needed.

Solid proficiency with Google Suite and ability to work with Mac product
