Overview:The Senior Visual Designer will be responsible for crafting high-quality, visually appealing designs for both digital and print media. Working closely with the creative team, this role involves producing graphics, visual assets, and other design elements to effectively communicate messages aligned with brand guidelines. Expertise in design principles, typography, and color theory, along with a good grasp of UI/UX principles, will be key to success in this role.Hourly range: $55 - $65/hr, paid weekly, benefits eligible.Duration: 7 - 12 months, 40 hrs per week, hybrid in Jersey City.Senior Visual Designer Duties:• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals and deliver visually engaging designs.• Develop assets, graphics, and layouts for use in digital and print materials, ensuring consistency with brand identity.• Produce visual content for websites, marketing campaigns, and other promotional materials.• Ensure that all design work meets accessibility and usability standards.• Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines efficiently.• Stay updated on design trends and industry best practices, incorporating new ideas into projects as needed.• Maintain a clear and organized system for file management, improving team collaboration.• Create and implement motion design or animation elements as needed.Senior Visual Designer Requirements:• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques for both digital and print media.• Skilled in design tools, including Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, UX, and UI design principles.• Motion design, animation, or illustration skills are a plus.• Experience with 3D software or interaction software is a plus.• Ability to adapt to feedback, collaborate effectively, and manage multiple projects.• A portfolio showcasing a range of creative design projects and the application of brand identity.There is no deadline to apply.
