About the Team

The Engagement Management team ensures the successful post-sales deployment and value realization of ChatGPT Enterprise and other OpenAI products for customers across  industries.  Engagement Managers collaborate closely with Sales, Technical Success, and Product teams to deliver exceptional AI experiences and measurable business results. Our customers span Large Enterprise, Digital Native, and Startup organizations. As the leader of Engagement Managers in EMEA, you’ll help companies transform their business by adopting solutions that make use of our newest, most exciting models.

About the Role

We are seeking an Engagement Manager leader to ensure the post-sales success of our EMEA customers. In this role, you will oversee strategic implementations, customer adoption, and the development of scalable systems and processes. Success will be measured by customer activation and adoption, live production deployments, and customer satisfaction. You will partner with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architecture, and Product teams. 

This role is open in our London office. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees.

In this role, you will:

  • Own the strategy and operating model of the EMEA Engagement Management team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and the evolving needs of our customers.

  • Lead, build, and mentor a team of high-performing Engagement Managers to deliver exceptional customer outcomes, as demonstrated by production customer deployments, increased adoption, and customer satisfaction. 

  • Act as the primary technical escalation point during implementation, fostering trust and maintaining direct communication with executive-level stakeholders.

  • Represent the voice of the customer by synthesizing feedback and identifying recurring themes to influence product development and strategic planning.

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have 6+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, managing C-level technical and business relationships with complex global organizations.

  • Have 2+ years of experience leading post-sales teams with a demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and manage technical teams.

  • Have led complex implementations of Generative AI/traditional ML solutions and can drive measurable business outcomes.

  • Are an effective presenter and communicator who can translate business and technical topics to all audiences, including senior leaders.

  • Own problems end-to-end and are willing to pick up whatever knowledge you're missing to get the job done.

  • Have a humble attitude, an eagerness to help your colleagues, and a desire to do whatever it takes to make the team succeed.

Compensation, Benefits and Perks

This is a position with OpenAI UK Ltd., which controls the hiring and management of this position. Total compensation includes competitive salary, generous equity and benefits.

  • Private medical insurance covering 100% of premiums for employees and their dependents

  • Pension plan with 4% employer contribution

  • 52 weeks maternity leave and 20 weeks parental leave

  • Unlimited time off

  • Annual learning & development stipend ($1,500 USD equivalent per year)
