Salary Information
$40,000 to $45,000 commensurate with experience

Department Summary
New College provides leadership and strategic direction for developing, coordinating, and expanding UNT regional campus academic programs. The primary regional campuses include UNT
at Frisco and the Collin Higher Education Center (CHEC) in McKinney. The Dean of New College office will also direct an academic unit that offers a range of programs and services designed to meet the needs of post-traditional students.

Position Overview
* JOB LOCATED IN FRISCO * TEAM ATMOSPHERE *
* HOURS MON-THURS 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM *

This position will facilitate the daily operations of Frisco Landing and provide support to the Director of Operations. The Operations Coordinator will also support New College and any visiting faculty and staff.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and three years of highly responsible and varied office administration or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

  • Advanced written communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Knowledge of accounting/budgeting procedures.
  • Ability to work under pressure, to adjust to constant changes, to handle multiple tasks, and to coordinate the work of others.
  • Ability to keep complex records, to assemble and organize data of complex nature, and to prepare and submit reports in acceptable formats.
  • Ability to conceptualize, plan and organize multiple programs and assignments effectively.
  • Ability to work on complex and confidential tasks utilizing judgment, tact, and resourcefulness.
  • Skill in developing and maintaining good working relationships.
  • Knowledge of policies, practices, procedures and terminology of assigned function.

Hours may change due to UNT closures or class schedules

Job Duties

o
Assist with key and access management


o
Monitor security cameras, patrol the parking lot areas, respond to accidents, and contact EMS for emergencies as required

o
Submit work orders for equipment maintenance and service calls

o
Lock property entrances and secure the building at closing


o
Conduct daily physical hazard inspections

o
Monitor and inspect AED and fire extinguishers

o
Space management and asset management coordinator

o
Monitor and order office supplies

o
Train and oversee Student Assistants

o
Assist with troubleshooting printer request

o
Assist with student and visitor inquiries

o
Provide support to the Director of Operations
