Be the engine of growth at OVRSEA Italy 📈


As a Business Development Intern at OVRSEA, you will play a key role in driving our growth in Italy. Be the first point of contact for potential clients, uncover key opportunities, and set the stage for our Account Executives to showcase OVRSEA’s innovative solutions.


- Connect with C-level prospects across industries like fashion retail, industry, furniture etc.

- Set up impactful demos for Account Executives to present OVRSEA's expertise.

- Reporting to our BDR Team Lead, Alessio, you will work closely with our Account Executives, Daniele and Tommaso, to target high-value opportunities.

- Grow the team into a hub of sales expertise and expand organically.

- Build a steady pipeline of mid-cap and key account clients in both new and existing sectors.

- Sustain profitability while scaling rapidly.


Your missions as a Business Development Intern


👉 Approach strategy (20%)

- Develop and implement effective strategies to engage prospects.

- Research key contacts and gather valuable insights to maximize conversion rates.


👉 Prospecting & Client acquisition (70%)

Outbound:

- Reach out to prospects via phone, personalized emails, and LinkedIn.

- Qualify leads to ensure alignment with our business model.

- Present OVRSEA effectively and secure remote demos for Account Executives.

Inbound: Collaborate with the Marketing team on events, newsletters, and webinars to capture new leads.


👉 Sharpen sales techniques (10%)

- Log insights and best practices in our CRM (Salesforce) for team-wide benefit.

- Identify improvement areas to continuously raise the bar.

- You are looking for a 6-month internship based in Milan

- You have recently graduated or are about to graduate from a business school or university (Master degree), and ideally have some sales experience (SaaS B2B or logistics is a great plus).

- You are a native Italian speaker and fluent in English.

- You are eager to learn about international trade and curious about the complex, fascinating world of global freight.

- You have excellent communication skills (oral and written) with a clear, structured, and concise approach.
