Position Description:
PAR Technology has an exciting opportunity! The Payroll Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting intelligent, financially sound compliance and reporting for our Payroll functions. The right person for this role is a systems thinker with a passion for developing and maintaining simple and sustainable processes and enjoys translating data into insights efficiently and effectively. This highly visible role offers career growth in a high-growth environment, as well as exposure to key leaders across the organization.
Position Location:
Chicago, IL, Philadelphia, PA, Austin, TX, Minneapolis, MN, or New Hartford, NY. There is the capability to be remotely based in any of these locations.

What We’re Looking For:
Requirements:
Experience using ADP Workforce Now highly preferred or other enterprise-level payroll software
Minimum 4 years of experience in payroll systems and analysis
Strong report-building skills utilizing payroll software and Excel
Deep knowledge of state and federal payroll and tax regulations
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (preferred)
Strong finance skills, analytical problem-solving ability, and solid business acumen
Passion for using data to drive better decision-making and connecting operational metrics with financial results
Familiarity with payroll compliance reporting such as 5500, 401K & match, and workers comp
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (with ability to analyze data using formulas)
Independent, proactive, and creative approach to problem solving
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage simultaneous assignments in a fast-paced environment
Unleash your potential: What you will be doing and owning:
Prepare compliance report workbooks for review by Sr. Payroll Manager
Manage state tax registrations and ongoing maintenance
Support payroll processing as needed
Maintain documentation of payroll processes
Provide ad-hoc analytics for payroll-related business analysis
Support project management during implementation of payroll efficiencies
Contribute to payroll system maintenance, testing, and improvements
Collaborate with employees and payroll administrators to resolve complex payroll matters
