School Social Worker - Georgia (GA)

Parallel is looking for remote school Social Workers to join our team of expert clinicians. Help students thrive by providing direct and indirect social work services and collaborating with mental health colleagues to conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations.

Looking for licensed Social Workers to support our school partnerships in Georgia! 


What You’ll Do

  • Deliver direct and indirect social work services to children.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to create tailored treatment or IEPs with social work-specific goals.
  • Provide insights to staff on cultural, familial, and societal factors affecting student behavior.
  • Develop positive behavioral intervention strategies and conduct mental health assessments.
  • Facilitate parental support and help with school adjustment.
  • Train staff, assist with behavior management, and provide direct support as needed.

What You’ll Need 

  • Be a licensed clinical Social Worker (active LCSW) 
  • A valid state license or certificate to work in a K12 school (varies by state)
  • Minimum 1 year of full-time on-site school social work (excluding internships)
  • Remote social work experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in the National SSW Practice Model domains
  • Expertise in MTSS frameworks, counseling, and evaluations
  • Strong communication skills for diverse student populations
  • Tech-savvy and experience with conducting tele-health services on virtual meeting platforms
  • A private workspace with a reliable computer, webcam, and secure internet connection
  • Availability during traditional school hours (8:00am-3:00pm) and days (Monday-Friday); minimum availability of 15 hours per week is ideal 
  • Fluency in additional languages is a plus!
