***YOU MUST have Managed Service Provider (MSP) experience, be physically located in the South Jersey or Philadelphia region, and be willing to travel to Philadelphia to apply for this position.***

This is an ON-Site role that will require you to visit the client site to carry out your duties and responsibilities - you must be able to commute to our offices in Philadelphia, PA.

Job Description

As a Help Desk Technician, you will work in a collaborative, team environment to deliver high-quality service to our customers. Some responsibilities include but not limited to: 

  • Use expert technical skills to perform support, implementation, and training functions including IT Service Desk, Desktop, Server (Premise / Cloud), Network, Email Threat Protection, User Awareness Training, Vulnerability Assessments, Email Migrations, MFA to the desktop, Managed Backups, Managed Firewalls, Hosted VoIP, and Contract Client Support.
  • Work remotely with customers in addition to local travel to client sites to install and maintain computer systems and networks, aiming for the highest functionality.

Qualifications

Basic requirements:

  • Must have experience in the MSP industry
  • 2-6+ years of IT experience in a tech support-related role. 
  • Schedule flexibility to participate in On-Call rotation.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be willing to commute to office in Springfield PA and to client site near Philadelphia, PA area at least 2-3 times a week.

Technical Requirements/knowledge:

  • Strong well-rounded experience with these managed services: Microsoft suite including Office 365 and Azure, firewall security, network administration, and access control. 
  • Firewall security: Next-Generation Firewall Configuration and Support, Network and Security Vulnerability Assessments
  • Microsoft suite: Office 365 Setup & Configuration + Azure server support, Email Migrations to Office 365
  • Network administration: Managed Switch Configuration - Creating and supporting VLAN environments, Port tagging, QoS, and configuration.
  • Access control: Configure & Support Access Control systems and IP-based Security Camera systems.
