Compensation Analyst

Job SummaryThe Compensation Analyst will contribute to the development, implementation, and administration of Phoenix Contact USA's compensation programs to ensure they are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our business goals, locally and globally. Collaborating with HR and management, this position will focus on designing compensation packages that attract, retain, and motivate top talent while also ensuring appropriate guidance and advice is provided to management on employee compensation policies, procedures, and other related topics.Responsibilities• Conducts market research and analysis to determine competitive compensation rates.• Collaborates with HR and management to develop and maintain salary structures, job classifications, performance-based compensation plans, and compensation policies.• Administers and manages employee compensation programs, including salary reviews, bonuses, and incentives.• Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.• Provides guidance and support to HR and management on position analysis and salary recommendations for new hires, job changes, specialist adjustments, etc.• Prepares and presents reports on compensation trends and metrics to senior management.• Administers compensation surveys and analyzes survey data to benchmark company compensation practices.• Conducts internal salary audits and analyzes compensation data to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.• Monitors changes in the industry and prepares recommendations and plans to change compensation strategies accordingly• Other duties as assigned by one's manager.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.• 3 (+) years of compensation experience preferred, including experience in compensation analysis and/or compensation program development.• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation from WorldatWork preferred.• Ability to manage sensitive employee information in a highly professional and confidential manner.• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.• Proficiency in SAP SuccessFactors and compensation management tools.• Strong understanding of market salary data and benchmarking techniques.• Experience with job architecture, job analysis, job evaluation, and pay structure design.• Knowledge of compensation-related laws and regulations.• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including Microsoft Excel.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.• Strong analytical, decision-making, and documentation skills.• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including Microsoft Excel.Essential Job Functions• Must be able to travel via airplane.• Must have a valid driver's license and travel via automobile for up to six hours at a time.• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
