Plume is seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Sales Engineer to bridge the gap between product, engineering, and sales. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for helping potential clients understand, integrate, and extract value from Plume’s blockchain technology. This is a client-facing role that requires deep technical knowledge, effective communication skills, and the ability to simplify complex blockchain concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You will work closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to support pre-sales activities, technical presentations, and product demonstrations. The ideal candidate is an expert in blockchain technology with a passion for educating clients, driving adoption, and delivering world-class technical solutions.
1. Technical Pre-Sales Support
Serve as the technical expert during the sales process, helping potential clients understand how Plume’s platform fits their needs.
Partner with sales executives to prepare and deliver tailored product demonstrations and technical presentations to key decision-makers.
Assist in the development of technical sales collateral, including whitepapers, technical specifications, and case studies.
2. Client Onboarding & Integration
Support RWA issuers, dapp developers, and financial institutions in the technical integration of Plume's blockchain solutions.
Lead technical onboarding sessions for clients, walking them through the technical aspects of Plume's API, smart contracts, and developer tools.
Address technical issues that arise during onboarding and work with internal teams to develop and deploy solutions.
3. Product Customization & Proof of Concept (POC) Development
Work closely with clients to customize Plume’s offerings, enabling bespoke product solutions that meet unique client needs.
Lead the design and development of Proof-of-Concept (POC) solutions, showcasing the technical feasibility of Plume's platform.
Provide technical input and guidance to help tailor Plume's product offering for large-scale client opportunities.
4. Technical Support & Troubleshooting
Provide technical support and serve as the first point of contact for clients during product integration and implementation.
Collaborate with the customer success and engineering teams to diagnose, resolve, and prevent technical issues.
Act as a technical liaison between clients and Plume's internal development teams to escalate and prioritize bug fixes or feature requests.
5. Solution Design & Consultation
Act as a technical consultant for clients by offering best practices, guidance, and advice on building tokenized asset solutions on Plume’s platform.
Work with clients to design optimal system architectures, ensuring smooth integration with Plume’s blockchain and API.
Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and develop technical documentation, training materials, and user guides.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Plume’s Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to communicate client feedback and help shape Plume’s product roadmap.
Collaborate with sales, business development, and marketing to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business goals.
5+ years of experience in a technical sales engineering, solutions engineering, or client-facing technical role within blockchain, fintech, or SaaS. Crypto native required.
Deep technical knowledge of blockchain architecture, smart contracts, EVM-compatible chains, and tokenized real-world assets (RWAs).
Familiarity with API integrations, SDKs, and developer toolkits used to support client technical implementations.
Proficiency in programming languages like Solidity, JavaScript, Python, or Rust.
Strong understanding of web3 developer tooling, DeFi protocols, and dapp development.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven experience in leading POCs, client onboarding, and integration projects.
Ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, while maintaining a high level of responsiveness and quality support.
Passion for blockchain, decentralized finance (DeFi), and tokenization of real-world assets (RWAs).
