Job Description:

As a Product Analyst on our Skills Analytics team, you will play a critical role in helping users achieve their goals. You will partner with product teams to drive product strategy and product development through data-informed insights and recommendations. This entails structuring, scoping, and conducting analyses to deepen our understanding of the product, evaluate product outcomes, and discover opportunities to deliver better outcomes. Your work will enable us to grow and to deliver more value to more users.

What you’ll do:

  • Build strategic partnerships with product leaders, product managers, designers, and engineers
  • Generate user behavior and product engagement insights to inform product strategy, identify product opportunities, and prioritize these opportunities
  • Collaborate with product teams throughout the product development process to validate hypotheses with data, including designing and measuring the impact of A/B experiments
  • Define, measure, visualize, and evaluate product outcomes
  • Review analytics implementation to ensure creation of high quality data
  • Craft informational and intuitive data visualizations and self-service dashboards that provide partners with up-to-date insights

Experience you’ll bring:

  • Experience using analytics to solve business problems with data
  • Proficient in Tableau (or similar BI tool) for data visualization
  • Experience using R, and/or Python for statistical analysis is a plus
  • Understanding of web analytics tracking and event / metadata tagging strategies is a plus

Requirements:

  • Requires a minimum of 5 years of related or equivalent experience; or 3+ years with an advanced degree.
  • Proficient in SQL and web analytics (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Amplitude, Heap, Google Analytics)
  • Demonstrated ability to structure analyses and generate relevant insights to achieve business and product goals
  • Excellent at communicating complex analyses to a non-technical audience and telling compelling stories with data insights and visualizations

The annual US base salary range for this role is $84,9000- $104,800 USD. Pluralsight's pay ranges vary based on work location. Talent Acquisition can share more detail during the hiring process when applicable. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. In addition to the base salary, this role may also be eligible for benefits and bonuses.
