Position Summary:
The Linux Systems Administrator will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining all of the servers and associated software that we use to run our business, as well as managing the tools and environments that support our developers.
Who you’ll work with:
You will report to the Director of IT and will work closely with our DevOps, Customer Success, Software Engineer, InfoSec, and IT departments.
What you'll be doing day to day:
· Monitor production systems, handle alerts and troubleshoot problems
· Setting up servers and services
· Working with Customers, providing world class support
· Managing servers, including application database and file servers
· Provide technical knowledge and Senior level expertise in configuration, automation and deployment of Linux VMs
· Create detailed documentation
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
· 5+ years of experience as a Linux server admin.
· Good interpersonal and communications skills.
· Experience administering Linux networks -- preferably Ubuntu or other Debian-based distros.
· Experience in setting up servers and services in both On Premise and Cloud infrastructure(Azure a plus).
· iSCSI Storage Administration in a HPE Nimble environment is a plus.
· Solid networking understanding - BASH, python, or perl scripting experience
· Microsoft Windows Server Active Directory.
· Experience with continuous improvement of process and systems - Puppet, Nagios and Splunk knowledge is a plus.
· Experience with Docker or Kubernetes is helpful.
· HIPAA/HITRUST compliance knowledge would be helpful.
· VMware administration.
· Healthcare experience is a plus.
· BS level degree or equivalent work experience.
