Your expedition: Growth & Marketing at Polarsteps


Over the past 9 years, Polarsteps has grown massively through word-of-mouth, thanks to our product and tech department building a top-quality user experience for all our travelers.


The Growth & Marketing department is still a small team, but we doing big things. You’ll take charge of diverse user acquisition channels, including Meta, TikTok, Google, and Apple Search Ads, to maximize acceleration within our key markets (FR, DE, UK, US, NL) while efficiently managing paid budgets. Besides our paid channels, you will monitor our keyword rankings in the App Stores closely and know how to optimize titles, subtitles and keywords to improve our organic installs. Also, you will work closely with out designers to optimize the App Store Screens to improve conversion rates.


With ratings of 4.8* and 4.7* on the app stores and features in multiple Google and Apple showcases, we've got an impressive past. But we’re even more excited for the future — and the impact you can make from day one is huge, directly influencing how we can accelerate user acquisition in all our key markets.


Your itinerary

What your journey at Polarsteps will look like day-to-day.


You will:

- Execute, monitor, and optimize performance marketing campaigns, conducting tests, analyzing data, and identifying trends with a focus on lowering CPA’s and acquiring high quality users.

- Collaborate with agencies, UGC creators, Polarsteps Explores and Travel Creators to develop compelling on brand creatives that resonate with target audiences

- Improve our App Store Rankings for Google Play & iOS Store (ASO) to enhance organic install growth. (We currently work closely with an App Store Optimization (ASO) expert but would like you to start taking it over)

- Track, report, and deeply analyze campaign performance, understanding the core problems/drivers of change.

What we’re hoping you’ll bring with you.


- 6+ years of experience in performance marketing (e.g., Apple Search Ads, Google App campaigns, Meta and TikTok) ad mobile app companies.

- Fully understand the mobile tracking and measurement ecosystem (e.g. SKAD, AEM, ATT’s, etc.)

- Worked intensively with product analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude, Appsflyer, Adjust, Looker, Meta Base etc.).

- A data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and visualize complex information for effective decision-making.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present analyses and insights in clear, impactful formats.
