Location: Outpatient Center in Broken Arrow, OK
Job Type: Part-Time (Opportunity to grow to full-time)
Pay: $40-$55 per hour + Sign-On Bonus!

Our Speech Language Pathologists are key members of the therapeutic team at Positive Development. They work in collaboration with Occupational Therapists and Mental Health Clinicians to provide a true developmental and trans-disciplinary approach of excellence to children and their families.  
We are seeking an authentic, joyful, growth-minded Speech-Language Pathologist to join our growing team in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma!
 
Daily Responsibilities Include: 
  • Upon intake; review each child’s assessments and other related documentation to determine the child’s current needs.    
  • Provide an initial Speech Language Pathology evaluation for each child, as needed, in consultation with the Senior SLP Clinician.   
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to create a treatment plan for each child, including identifying specific speech & language related goals.   
  • Provide direct speech & language services to autistic children utilizing a developmental approach to work towards each child’s goals and to strengthen developmental foundations.     
  • Monitor each child’s progress on an ongoing basis. Record session notes in the child’s Electronic Health Record and communicate progress to other members of the team, including the parents.   
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing supervision.   
  • Provide ongoing mentoring and support to new SLPs as they join the team.  
 
Build Your Own Part-Time, Flexible Schedule:
Hours are available during the following timeframes:
Monday – Thursday: 8:00AM-6:00PM
Friday: 9:00AM-4:00PM
  • Our flexible scheduling is perfect for clinicians seeking to build a caseload during after-school hours, mornings, or only a couple of days per week.
  • This is a great opportunity if you are seeking permanent part-time work or an option to build to a full-time caseload!
  • Great option for clinicians with other roles such as school-based positions or private practice seeking additional hours or experience working with the ASD population in an outpatient setting.
 
Requirements:
  • Must have an active Speech-Language Pathology license in the State of Oklahoma
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) 
  • Strong desire to learn the Developmental Model through training, observation and reflection 
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral 
  • Passion for working with children on the autism spectrum 
  • Ability to work seamlessly and respectfully on a trans-disciplinary team 
  • Flexible schedule
