PR Associate

About the role:

Sustainability is at the core of what we do at Flow Carbon. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated PR Associate to join our team. In this role, you will manage targeted media relations and communications with both retail consumers and corporate clients. You will help Flow Carbon grow brand awareness through PR, conferences and events. This is an exciting opportunity to join a hyper-growth team at the ground floor and work closely with the founders and decision makers.

What you'll do:

• Partner with the Head of Marketing and Chief Brand Officer on marketing and communications initiatives
• Support development and execution of social and influencer campaigns
• Guide relevant external communications
• Support marketing & communications for corporate partnerships
• Prepare presentations for external audiences
• Maintain records of all press mentions, social media & events
• Maintain marketing calendar

About you:

• 3+ years of experience 
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience doing PR in the sustainability space, specific carbon offset experience a plus
• Deep interest in sustainability, and knowledge of the relevant publications, conferences and events accessed by leaders in the space
• Highly organized with impeccable attention to detail. Able to shift priorities in a dynamic environment
• Motivated self-starter, with the ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively 
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to multitask.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
• Knowledge of graphic design a plus
• Agency experience preferred
