Job Description

Are you passionate about transforming data into insights that drive strategic decisions? If you thrive on diving into data, uncovering hidden trends, transforming data into useful information, and making impactful recommendations, this could be the perfect role. You'll leverage your analytics, data science, and modern AI tools to optimize funnel performance and drive revenue growth for PG Forsta. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Support strategic growth efforts by analyzing historical data and trends, ensuring alignment with business objectives by working with our growth teams across sales and marketing.
  • Work closely with the growth team to address key strategic questions and provide insights on how data can be utilized and manipulated to improve growth performance.
  • Lead and manage complex data analytics projects, including target list management, predictive scoring, opportunity influence, and more.
  • Leverage advanced analytical techniques (e.g. predictive modeling, causal inference, machine learning, AI) to uncover hidden patterns, identify growth opportunities, and guide strategic decision-making.
  • Proactively identify and address data quality issues, implementing data governance practices to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Design and maintain dashboards, or other informative methods, to provide real-time visibility into key metrics and information that improve the workflows of internal teams.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate marketing insights to management and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends in growth strategies and AI.
  • Build and execute data pipelines built from internal data and external data.
  • Manage data infrastructure platforms and the datasets that reside within them for ad-hoc growth focused data projects.
  • Construct, execute and manage data validation tests.
  • Ensure that the datasets are in the ideal format and stored in the correct system as per their needs.

To work #bettertogether, we operate with a hybrid working model. For those based near one of our hub locations in Chicago, South Bend or Boston, we gather in our office locations three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). For the remaining days, we work from home.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in analytics or data science and development or engineering.
  • Exposure to reporting on sales campaigns with tools such as SalesForce or Hubspot.
  • Strong understanding of sales metrics and KPIs
  • Proficient in programming languages that can be utilized to extract, amend, and output data with a focus on how the end user will utilize the data. Examples can be dashboards, PDF reports, emails, etc.
  • Proficient in data visualization tools.
  • Highly proficient in using Excel (pivot tables, formula functions) and other tools for data analysis.
  • Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL database design.
  • Expertise in advanced analytics exploration, with experience managing large datasets across multiple systems.
  • Proactive in identifying and developing innovative solutions for unstructured and complex problems.
  • Independent self-starter, capable of taking ownership of projects and driving them to completion.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills, plus the ability to articulate data insights to cross functional and nontechnical audiences.
  • Ability to communicate data insights clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Experience in a B2B SaaS or tech environment. 
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to meet project deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Data engineering certification is a plus.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $105,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus or commission tied to achieved results.
