Riot’s mission is to put players at the center of everything we do. We do this by continuing to evolve and deliver new experiences to players with games like Teamfight Tactics, Legends of Runterra, VALORANT, and League of Legends: Wild Rift. Riot is also expanding into the world of music/multimedia with the release of our animated series Arcane and music from KDA and True Damage. In short - it’s an exciting time to be a Rioter.
As a Principal Games Product Manager (Games PM) at Riot, you will combine deep knowledge of players and systems with product leadership capabilities to drive player, product and business impact. As a Games PM for an unpublished R&D Game, you will help define the long term vision of the game and feature roadmap by actively evaluating opportunity areas and prioritizing features based upon player impact. You incorporate learnings from product experiments, constantly updating your understanding of the product audience to better predict what players care about, and incorporate these lessons into future problem space definition and roadmap focus. You will drive on end to end product strategy and prioritization calls that span from onboarding to engagement to monetization related features. You will report to the Game Director.
This role focuses on market sizing, audience segmentation, assessing impact, designing new features (and feature improvements), and developing content strategy. You will run data analysis and use existing dashboards to monitor the game’s performance and design experiments to optimize the game’s engagement and revenue metrics. Finally, you’ll be partnered with people across different work functions, so relationship management is a key part of your craft.
For this role, you'll find success through craft expertise, a collaborative spirit, and decision-making that prioritizes the delight of players. We will be looking at your past studies, experience, and your personal relationship with games. If you embody player empathy and care about players' experiences, this could be your role!
