The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in billing for mental health services.Position Overview:As an Experienced Medical Biller, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate processing of insurance claims, client billing, and payment reconciliation. You will work closely with our clinical and administrative teams to maintain smooth billing operations and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.Key Responsibilities:• Insurance Billing & Coding: Process insurance claims for counseling and therapy services, ensuring the correct application of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes.• Claims Management: Monitor and follow up on unpaid, denied, or rejected claims, resolving issues with insurance providers to ensure timely payment.• Client Billing: Prepare and send billing statements to clients, process payments, and manage patient accounts, ensuring accurate records are maintained.• Insurance Verification: Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for new and returning clients, including checking for prior authorizations where required.• Account Reconciliation: Maintain accurate financial records, tracking payments, adjustments, and credits for both insurance and private-pay clients.• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to HIPAA guidelines and other healthcare regulations.
