Senior Product Manager - Pick 'Em

At PrizePicks, we are the fastest growing sports company in North America, as recognized by Inc. 5000. As the leading platform for Daily Fantasy Sports, we cover a diverse range of sports leagues, including the NFL, NBA, and Esports titles like League of Legends and Counter-Strike. Our team of over 450 employees thrives in an inclusive culture that values individuals from diverse backgrounds, regardless of their level of sports fandom. Ready to reimagine the DFS industry together?

PrizePicks, the leading DFS platform known for its fun and engaging yet simple product, and a thriving community, is seeking a superstar Senior Product Manager to lead the charge on our Pick ‘Em Product Team. You'll be a strategic owner, driving the vision, planning, and execution of features that elevate the user experience across our catalog of user-facing products with a focus on our Pick ‘Em product.

What you’ll do:

  • Strategize:
    • Develop and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap for user-facing features of our core Pick ‘Em product
    • Identify opportunities to innovate and improve our products, while ensuring a best-in-class user experience by synthesizing customer pain points, user research, analysis, and stakeholder feedback.
    • Become an expert on the PrizePicks product ecosystem and deeply understand our member base.
  • Execute:
    • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch to relentless prioritization and ongoing optimization.
    • Define and execute on technical requirements, launch strategy, and overall vision of the product.
  • Collaborate:
    • Work closely with engineers, designers, and a variety of stakeholder groups to define, build, and iterate on a best-in-class user experience.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration across all levels of the organization.
  • Learn:
    • Deeply understand the DFS landscape, particularly user behavior across new (and existing) game modes and how it continues to evolve across the industry.
    • Champion a data-driven approach to product decision-making.
  • Lead (and Grow):
    • Lead by example.
    • Build a team to follow your lead.
    • Grow with them.

What you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with relevant experience within the DFS, gaming, sports tech or tangential industries
  • A proven track record of shipping successful products that customers love and drive business growth.
  • Entrepreneurial drive, passion about our mission, a deep empathy for our customers, and a desire to mentor less experienced product managers.
  • Experience building products across web and mobile apps (Apple and Android app stores)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
  • A strategic mindset with a knack for translating business goals into actionable product initiatives.
  • Self-driven ambition with a sense of urgency and a knack for taking audibles in stride and adapting in a high-paced environment.
  • A strong understanding of user research methodologies and a constant desire to learn.

What makes you stand out:

  • Prior experience in the sports/gaming industry and/or a power user of the industry’s products.
  • A deep passion for (daily) fantasy sports and an understanding of the competitive landscape.
  • Obsessive about something. We obviously love sports, but maybe it’s something else for you. What makes you tick? (Being a big sports-head definitely helps).
  • Community. Community. Community. We’re all about community. Both internally with our team and externally with our members. We’re looking for someone who always thinks about their community first.
  • You can add to the PrizePicks Culture. We want to work with people who bring something to the table on and off the field / in and out of the office.
  • You’re a do-er. Blockers aren’t blockers in your world, and when the play breaks down, you’re more of a Patrick Mahomes than a Daniel Jones.
  • You thrive in ambiguity.
  • You not only have a track record of taking things from 0 → 1, but also 1 → 100+.
  • You have a superpower. Everyone’s got one… what’s yours?

Where you’ll live:

  • Our tech/product team is remote-first… so anywhere in the US is fine, but Atlanta or New York would be preferred if you want to maximize the PrizePicks culture offline.

Benefits you’ll receive:

In addition to your great compensation package, we’ll shower you with perks including:

  • Company-subsidized medical, dental, & vision plans
  • 401(k) plan with company match
  • Long-term incentives and bi-annual bonus
  • Flexible PTO to encourage a healthy work/life balance (2 weeks STRONGLY encouraged!)
  • Generous paid leave programs, including 16-week paid parental leave and disability benefits
  • Workplace flexibility and modern work schedules focused on getting the job done, not hours clocked
  • Company-wide in-person events and team outings
  • Lifestyle enhancement program
  • Company equipment provided (Windows & Mac options)
  • Annual performance reviews with opportunities for growth and career development
