WHO YOU ARE
You will graduate in spring or fall of 2025 with a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related subject.
You are a fast learner and have played with data pipelines in the past.
You are ambitious and a strong communicator in English.
You are someone who loves tackling complex software, and data problems with a collaborative team.
You have a “get things done” attitude, and you are eager to learn and overcome any challenges to accomplish your tasks.
You have implemented projects in Python, and ideally basic knowledge of SQL.
You have knowledge of integrating with external APIs.
WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON
As a Data Engineer, you will be part of our platform team which supports our engineers, data scientists, and data analysts. You will play a critical role in building Qogita's data platform by collaborating with a team of experienced Data Engineers. Based on your interests and strength your role will be somewhere on the spectrum of data ops, data engineering, or analytics engineering.
Our data platform is build on airflow, dbt, snowflake, AWS Batch, AWS S3, terraform, and Kafka.

We are a small, close-knit team of Data engineers, DevOps Engineers, Data scientists and Data analysts. We are an open, honest, highly respectful group of people that work in an environment of mutual trust and psychological safety.
