Digital Marketing Intern

You’ll work with purpose, knowing that every drop of water we deliver makes a difference, and that our customers trust us to uphold the highest standards of reliability, sustainability, and care.   The RWA summer internship program runs from June 2-August 8 (10 weeks), is a paid internship and allows you to work with an organization that is critical to New Haven county’s success and infrastructure. During this program, you will be given the opportunity to grow professionally as well as showcase your skills and abilities. At the end of the program, you will present what you’ve learned throughout the summer to organizational leaders and your peers. Digital Marketing Summer Intern: Social Media Management: Create and schedule posts on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn to engage with the audience and promote services. Content Creation: Write blog posts, articles, and newsletters about plumbing tips, maintenance advice, and the benefits of plumbing insurance. Email Marketing: Develop and send out email campaigns to existing and potential customers highlighting special offers, new services, and insurance programs. SEO Optimization: Optimize the company website and content for search engines to improve visibility and attract organic traffic. Online Advertising: Assist in creating and managing online ads on Google, Facebook, and other platforms to reach a broader audience. Community Engagement Local Partnerships: Reach out to local businesses and community organizations to explore partnerships and cross-promotional opportunities. Event Planning: Organize and promote community events, workshops, or webinars on plumbing maintenance and insurance benefits. Customer Testimonials: Collect and share customer reviews and testimonials to build trust and credibility. Market Research Competitor Analysis: Research competitors to understand their marketing strategies and identify opportunities for differentiation. Customer Surveys: Conduct surveys to gather feedback on customer satisfaction and preferences, and use this data to improve marketing efforts. Creative Projects Graphic Design: Create visually appealing graphics for social media, website, and marketing materials. Video Production: Produce short videos demonstrating plumbing services, customer testimonials, and educational content about plumbing insurance. Administrative Support Database Management: Maintain and update customer databases and mailing lists. Reporting: Track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
