About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer at Remo Health, you will play a critical role in shaping our technology and product. You will be responsible for building, testing, and maintaining the next generation of healthcare applications. You will work closely with our engineering team to ensure the quality of our products and help us scale our platform.

What you’ll be doing

• Design, develop, test, and maintain highly scalable, reliable, and performant products and solutions.

• Collaborate with our engineering and design teams to bring new features and improvements to our products.

• Write clean, efficient, secure, and performant code using TypeScript and GraphQL.

• Participate in code reviews and test development to help maintain a high-quality codebase.

• Assist with architectural decisions and help to enforce best practices, standards, and procedures.

• Provide mentorship to less experienced engineers and contribute to team growth.

• Work autonomously and creatively in navigating and overcoming obstacles that you encounter.

• Reviewing and debugging code.

What we’re looking for

• Strong technical background with at least 6 years of experience in designing and engineering large-scale systems in digital health.

• Strong experience with our tech stack: Next.js, TypeScript, React, GraphQL, PostgreSQL.

• Knowledge of best practices for building and working with APIs, frontend technologies, and scalable systems.

• Proficiency in writing secure and reliable code, with an emphasis on performance optimization.

• Familiarity and/or knowledge of health data privacy standards like HIPAA.

• Proven experience working with FHIR and HL7 systems.

• Expertise with CSS and building responsive pages, with a keen eye for UI design and usability.

• Experience with web-accessibility/WCAG standards.
