Carpentry Service Technician

We’re looking for a skilled Service Technician to join our team!


As a Service Technician for Esler Companies – Renewal by Andersen you are a professional craftsperson who is experienced in remodeling, finish carpentry, or installing windows in homes of all shapes, sizes, and styles. This is a customer facing role so you must be dedicated to working with homeowners to go the extra mile whenever necessary (and often even when it’s not!).


Responsibilities
  • Make decisions based on job site evaluations for windows and doors that need service attention
  • Understand correct installation process and proper functioning of windows and doors for evaluation
  • Perform services on all windows and doors whether it be due to installation or manufacturing
  • Perform assessments of window/door issues and potential installation issues
  • Resolve service calls accurately and efficiently
  • Travel to customers' homes to assess and repair our products
  • Fill out appropriate warranty paperwork and submit in a timely manner


Qualifications
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a service technician or finish carpentry industry
  • Highly organized with the ability to reflect empathy toward customers
  • Valid Drivers License

$25 - $28 an hour
Depending on experience + monthly performance bonus!
