Physical Therapy Aide

Do you have an interest in Physical Therapy? Do you have a passion for people? Love the hustle and bustle of a busy clinic? Join ROC as a Physical Therapy Aide! This position will remain posted until filled.

You would contribute and learn from a team of Physical and Occupational Therapists, Assistants and other Aides at our North Valleys clinic while providing patient care. At ROC, we know who we and what we stand for; we do our jobs efficiently and effectively. Excellence in patient care is top of the list of our priorities, shown in the success of our therapy clinics. Develop strong relationships with fellow healthcare professionals and providers.

What would you do as an Physical Therapy Aide?

The Physical Therapy Aide position is responsible for preparing the patient and therapy environment for treatment and assisting the therapist.

  • Prepare treatment areas and equipment before and after patient appointments, including cleaning and maintaining safety;
  • Greet patient and direct them to the appropriate treatment area;
  • Assist therapist with the non-treatment aspects of therapy services following universal precautions;
  • Demonstrate proper use of equipment and exercise routines;
  • Ensure patient safety at all times, noting any risk factors and communicating with the therapist regarding patient issues or concerns;
  • Document activities, exercises, and outcomes as directed by the therapist in patient’s electronic medical record;
  • Maintain adequate levels of clinic supplies and linens.
  • Certifications/Education
    • High School Diploma/GED;
  • Experience:
    • Providing customer service.

If you have these preferred qualifications, you would be an ideal candidate:

  • Experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
