Job Description Summary:
Responsible for conducting research in the funded Medicinal Chemistry Core led by Dr. Bossmann (Scientific Director). This position requires the ability to effectively perform organic and macromolecular synthesis and take responsibility for assuring quality, cost effectiveness and timeliness for projects while working under the limited supervision.

Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology, or related field.

Job Duties Outlined:
Participate in various experiments involving techniques such as chemical synthesis and purification, peptide syntheses, and nanoplatform synthesis.
Responsible for overseeing day-to-day laboratory operations of the lab including maintaining flawless laboratory regulation documentation and certification, maintaining electronic files and notebooks, record keeping and ordering supplies.
Works with faculty, postdoctoral fellows, graduate students and research staff by entering data into computer and assisting them in other activities.
Work with companies from the CureBridge Initiative.
Perform other duties as may be assigned/requested by supervisor or other staff.
