About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager, Information Security and Risk Management to support our sales teams and lead security-related training initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Sales team to ensure security compliance during customer interactions and manage comprehensive security onboarding and awareness training for both internal employees and customers. This role will include direct engagement with potential customers to address security concerns and help integrate security practices into sales processes.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Security Sales Support: Provide security expertise to sales teams, ensuring compliance with security policies during all customer engagements. Work closely with sales staff and potential customers to address security concerns, answer questions, and provide security documentation.
  • Customer Engagement: Attend meetings with potential customers, presenting the company's security posture, addressing specific security concerns, and supporting the sales process from a security standpoint.
  • Security Onboarding Training: Develop and deliver security onboarding training programs for new employees, ensuring they understand the company's security policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Security Awareness Training: Lead regular security awareness training sessions for both internal staff and customers, focusing on data protection, phishing prevention, social engineering, and other key topics.
  • Contract Security Review: Collaborate with sales, legal, and compliance teams to review contracts, ensuring the inclusion of appropriate security clauses and measures in customer and vendor agreements.
  • Vendor Security Review: Conduct thorough reviews of third-party vendors’ security practices, ensuring they meet the company’s security standards. This includes evaluating vendor security questionnaires, conducting risk assessments, and making recommendations for improvement where necessary.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in information security, with a focus on security sales support Strong knowledge of security policies, procedures, and best practices, especially in a sales context.
  • Experience in developing and conducting security onboarding and awareness training programs.
  • Ability to engage with potential customers and effectively communicate security concepts during meetings.
  • Expertise in reviewing and assessing vendor security practices, including evaluating security questionnaires and managing security risks.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to deliver effective training sessions and explain complex security concepts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Security+.
  • Experience in the technology or SaaS industry.
  • Familiarity with sales tools and platforms (e.g., Loopio, Salesforce)

 

The base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000. This range is applicable to candidates who will perform the job either wholly, or in part, within New York City. Actual salary will be based on qualifications, competencies, and location. If you feel this range is not attractive, we encourage you to let us know through the application process. 

Base salary is just one part of the pay package at Riskified. All full-time regular employees receive a bonus target and are eligible to receive stock-based awards.
