Account Executive

As a second-generation, family-owned enterprise, RK Industries, LLC (RK) offers a diverse range of construction, manufacturing, advanced fabrication and building services. Led by Rick and Jon Kinning, RK represents seven distinct lines of business that work together to provide seamless project collaboration. Our exclusive building methodologies, accredited safety standards and professional execution allow us to turn our customers’ greatest concepts into reality.

Position and Responsibilities Overview
  • Facilitate the transfer of information from our customers to the RK Industries team.
  • Identify possible problems/issues and coordinate the solutions.
  • Prepare/oversee accurate scope letters.
  • Facilitate the transfer of projects to the Operations Team from the Pre-Construction Team.
  • Ensure that the preconstruction services provided by RK Industries meet customer requirements.
  • Direction to the Construction/Design team (internal & external).
  • Create scope summaries that clearly define the project pricing and responsibilities.
  • Create an accurate trend timeline & pricing that defines accepted/pending/declined trends for the project.
  • Explain and define pricing and scope to our clients.
  • Be the RK Mechanical representative to ensure that there is a clear understanding & transfer of up to date information.
  • Offer solutions and gather information to keep the project scope clear and within budget.
  • Others duties as assigned
  • This role is salary plus commission
Qualifications
  • Company Leader.
  • Responsible for one or more programs/functions of such diversity and scope to be of critical importance to overall company objectives. 
  • Negotiates critical and controversial issues with top-level employees and officers.
  • Plays a role in company business strategy development and execution. 
  • Makes authoritative decisions and recommendations having significant impact on extensive and related activities of the company.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in planning, organizing and guiding extensive programs and activities of importance.
  • Manages autonomous individuals, managers and diverse groups giving broader direction.
  • Expert in field, extensive relevant experience, 5+ years.
  • Masters or college/university graduate or equivalent combination of skills and experience generally required.

Safety is Our Top Priority
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  •  Prompt, punctual, and regular attendance during core business hours, in an office environment (not a telecommuting position), currently located in the Henderson area of Denver, including a reliable means of transport to and from work. Ability to occasionally travel between corporate offices and jobsites within the Denver Metro Area, during work hours.
  •  All employees are accountable for safety and health and are empowered to stop work if an unsafe condition is present. Employees should immediately notify their supervisor so that the hazard may be corrected
Minimum Physical Requirements
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment.
  • Occasionally may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work
