About the role

We're looking for a partnership-driven professional to help us expand our payment processing capabilities across our rapidly growing portfolio. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with payment service providers, securing new merchant accounts, and optimizing our existing partnerships. Key Responsibilities

  • Source and secure new payment processing partnerships to support our global expansion

  • Lead merchant account opening processes from initial contact to approval

  • Gather and prepare documentation for underwriting and KYC processes

  • Maintain relationships with existing payment providers and account managers

  • Negotiate processing fees and commercial terms

  • Research market opportunities for payment method expansion

  • Prepare partnership proposals and business cases

  • Keep stakeholders updated on partnership status and opportunities

  • Manage documentation and compliance requirements for merchant accounts

  • Maintain and update lead pipeline in Hubspot CRM 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or similar role

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Experience in commercial negotiations

  • Experience working with CRM systems (Hubspot preferred) 

  • Ability to manage multiple partnership opportunities simultaneously

  • Strong project management and organization skills

  • Experience preparing and presenting business proposals

  • Attention to detail in documentation and compliance matters

  • Proactive problem-solving approach

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills

Nice to have

  • Experience in digital payments or fintech industry

  • Understanding of payment processing landscape

  • Knowledge of payment service providers (Stripe, PayPal, etc.)

  • Background in high-risk merchant account acquisition

  • Understanding of payment orchestration platforms

Location

Ruby Labs operates within the CET (Central European Time) zone. Applicants from any country are welcome to apply for the position as long as they are located within approximately ± 4 hours of CET. This ensures optimal collaboration and communication during working hours.
