RWE Clean Energy, LLCFunctional area: Finance / ControllingRemuneration: Non-ExemptThe Fall Accounting GL Intern plays a vital role in supporting the General Ledger Accounting team at RWE Clean Energy. The team's focus is to manage the general ledger, tracks records income and expenses, aids audits, ensure accounting compliance, and assist with budgeting and financial analysis to maintain accurate financial management at RWE Clean Energy. The intern will assist the team in collaborating on account reconciliations, contributing to ad hoc projects and helping the team reach its goals. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world setting while supporting RWE Clean Energy's financial operations.Responsibilities:• Collect SAP data and input it into Excel models for analysis• Support the preparation of journal entries to document financial transactions• Collaborate on account reconciliations as necessary to maintain accurate financial records• Contribute to various ad hoc projects and tasks as required to support the team's objectivesQualifications:• Enrolled in an accredited US university program, pursuing a degree in accounting or finance• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products• Proficient in Excel• Effective writing and communication skills requiredThis is a full-time 12-week fall internship starting in August 2024 in our Chicago office.RWE is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
