Sales Performance Coach

As the Sales Performance Coach, you will be working with our Sales Leadership teams focused on the ongoing development of our valued sales team members. This role will work with Sales Leadership to recognize any trends and relay recommendations on where there are thematic opportunities. The Sales Performance Coach will provide 1:1 coaching, small and large group training, and ensure key results are being hit. This individual will be responsible for onboarding, ever-boarding, and upskilling, and will work to ensure our sales team understands how to use resources and systems effectively and efficiently to excel in their roles.

What would you do, if hired?

  • Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions with Account Executives to enhance their performance and skills
  • Monitor the performance of Account Executives through phone monitoring, call recording reviews, and direct observation
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers to create action plans for new Account Executives, track progress toward goals, and measure their achievements
  • Develop leadership competencies for Senior Leaders and create programs to facilitate growth and development
  • Implement new programs and techniques to streamline the onboarding process
  • Coordinate with other departments to create programs to support the growth of Account Executives
  • Design, facilitate, and continuously improve sales training programs with a focus on adult learning principles
  • Identify skill gaps and design programs to address them while measuring progress against key results
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess performance, align on key results, and report findings
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership and provide insights from the field, develop special projects as needed in collaboration with internal partners

Who are we looking for?

  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills with experience in establishing and maintaining credible coaching relationships
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and facilitation techniques; familiarity with frameworks like ADKAR, ADDIE, Kirkpatrick, GROW, Blooms, and Situational Leadership
  • Experience using Salesforce, Salesloft, Seismic, LMS, and other related technologies to gather and interpret data
  • Previous Tech Sales experience within a multi-channel business service environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify skill gaps and design programs to address them
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent collaboration and team-building skills
  • Ability to guide, engage, and impart knowledge to others
  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business, or a related field preferred

Pay Scale Information

Celigo reasonably expects to pay a base salary between $85,000 and $105,000 for this position. Actual starting base pay will be determined by skills, experience, geographic location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, benefits, or other perks as outlined in any formal employment offer made.
