Product Engineer (AI) Role Description

We are on the lookout for an exceptional Product Engineer to join our fast-growing AI team. This role is all about energy, urgency, and ownership — driving ideas from 0 to 1 with speed and precision. Working directly with the Head of Engineering and a small but experienced cross-functional product team, you will have the chance to shape and ship cutting-edge AI products that solve real customer problems.

Our team fosters a “build, test, iterate” approach, encouraging healthy friction between creative energy and the calm, methodical reliability of traditional engineering. What You’ll Do

• Build and Launch: Take ownership of features and products from ideation to production. You’ll rapidly prototype, iterate, and ship AI-driven solutions.

• Customer-Centric Development: Interact directly with customers to identify problems and craft creative, thoughtful solutions.

• Drive Urgency and Focus: Work with energy and pace, while keeping an eye on long-term stability. You’ll balance rapid experimentation with production-quality development.

• AI Product Experience: Strong working knowledge of modern AI toolchains and LLMs. You’ve built and shipped AI-driven products, not just toy models.

• Technical Skills:

• Solid experience with Python (Django, FastAPI, Flask, etc.) and/or JavaScript/TypeScript (React, Next.js).

• Strong knowledge of SQL/relational databases like MySQL.

• Experience with Git and modern development workflows.

• Engineering Fundamentals: 5+ years of commercial software development experience with modern agile processes and tooling.

• Startup Mentality: Experience driving something from 0→1, whether it’s a product, feature, or side project you owned. We’re looking for people who’ve built something themselves, not just maintained it.

• Balancing Speed and Stability: Ability to move fast and experiment while knowing when it’s time to focus on production-grade quality.
