Position Summary...What you'll do...About the RoleThe Senior Director of Brand Strategy will support Corporate Communications in the development of the Sam's Club Corporate Brand Strategy and will lead the consistent implementation of the brand value proposition throughout all marketing work. This leader will work across categories and lines of business to ensure that brand expression and messaging consistently align with established guidelines and support the company's broader strategic goals.What you'll do:• Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies that align with Sam's Club's overall business objectives and target customer segments.• Lead the development of brand positioning, messaging, and creative concepts that resonate with Sam's Club's diverse member base.• Oversee the management of Sam's Club's owned social media channels, including strategy development, content creation, community management, and performance analysis.• Collaborate with internal teams, including product marketing, merchandising, and operations, to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints and channels.• Oversee the creation and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, in-store signage, and events.• Conduct market research and analyze consumer insights to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges for the Sam's Club brand.• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of brand marketing and social media campaigns and regularly analyze performance data to inform future strategies.• Drive the development of integrated marketing campaigns that leverage owned social media platforms to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion.• Manage external agencies and vendors to execute brand campaigns and initiatives effectively, ensuring quality and consistency.• Champion brand guidelines and standards to maintain consistency across all brand communications and assets.• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for brand growth and innovation.• Provide leadership to the marketing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and new ideas.What you'll bring:• Minimum 10 years of experience in brand marketing• Track record in developing successful marketing strategies for large matrixed companies• Prior experience in team leadership and motivating and inspiring a team• Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills and a data-driven mindset• Captivating story-telling skillsYou will be successful in this role with the following skillsets:• Strategic Leadership• Brand Management Expertise• Communication and Collaboration• Creative and Strategic Thinking• Team Development• Knowledge of Retail or Membership-Driven Brands• Risk ManagementThe above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed in the role.
