This position requires the associate to work a flexible shift tailored to coincide with Eastern Standard Time (EST) in the US, ensuring optimal collaboration and support for our operations.In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing technical support to our clients, ensuring smooth operation and resolution of any issues that arise, while also leveraging your skills as a Cloud Engineer. The ideal candidate will have experience with AWS, Splunk and/or Window administration, possess strong problem-solving abilities, and have a passion for helping our internal developer teams by providing exceptional developer experience.Our team is fun, dedicated, and supportive, tackling interesting technical and design challenges every day. Join us to grow your skills and make an impact!Responsibilities and Impact:Provide technical support to our clients, ensuring smooth operation and resolution of any issues that arise.• Manage and troubleshoot issues reported by clients.• Document all support interactions and resolutions accurately in ServiceNow - mySolutions ticketing system daily.• Resolve issues in creative and effective ways.• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance the Developer Experience with our applications such as automating our manual intake process and current BAU work e fficiently.• The person should be open to working a rotational shift including weekends and holidaysCompensation/Benefits Information : (This section is only applicable to US candidates)S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $65,000 to $ 124,000 . Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits. For more information on the benefits we provide to our employees, please click here .What W e're L ooking F or :Basic Required Qualifications:• Deep knowledge of AWS technologies such as EC2, ELB, S3, VPC, EBS, RDS, AMIs, IAM, FSX, Active Directory, DNS, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS etc.• 3+ years of experience in a highly complex technical AWS operations environment with expertise in supporting Windows 2016/2019 server environments• Networking administration experience, Good understanding of VPN, Peering, Routing, NACL, ALB/NLB, Security Groups, Access Control• Good to have experience with configuration and deployment management in a scripting language like Ansible. In this context knowledge of AWS Cloud formation/Azure DevOps /Terraform is helpful to run multi-server application stacks.• MS SQL Server - Standard and Enterprise deployment setup and Understanding of HA setups• The person should be open to work in rotational shifts including weekends and holidays• University degree, preferably engineering graduate or equivalent.• Strong communication skills are needed to describe hosted offerings, and solutions across a wide range of requirements, and convey different levels from management to clients.• Proven track record of supporting cloud-hosted Windows-based applications.Additional Preferred Qualifications:• Strong Analytical skills, Presentation skills, and ability to work under pressure• Experience in AWS Cloud Administration preferably AWS-certified Solutions Architect or EquivalentAbout S&P Global Market IntelligenceAt S&P Global Market Intelligence, a division of S&P Global we understand the importance of accurate, deep and insightful information.
