SAS Risk, Fraud & Security Intelligence R&D division is looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Developer to join its Fraud Decisioning team to design, build, and support scalable automated test frameworks, tools, and test suites to ensure quality within expected timelines during the development cycle. As a Senior Software Developer

  • Create and maintain high quality of test automation using modern development techniques, both inside and outside of the CDP and provide key data points to support metrics-based decision making.
  • Produce and analyze metrics that illustrate the quality of applications and develop insight that drives the direction of quality engineering.
  • Work collaboratively with development, product and devops teams to promptly triage test failures with precision and accuracy, maintaining the health of the build pipeline.
  • Engages in code reviews for product, test, and infrastructure code.
  • Understands the role of deployment, migration, security, and performance in the continuous delivery lifecycle.
  • Improve mean time to resolution by leading triage with precision and accuracy, maintaining the health of the build pipeline
  • Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization’s secure software development goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science or related quantitative field
  • 8+ years of experience developing automated tests using Java, Python, Robot, or other modern frameworks
  • Experience working in an agile software development environment, including sprint planning and delivery of sprint commitments, Jira
  • Test design and implementation experience with web-based microservices, REST interfaces, and the OpenAPI specification
  • Has developed innovative best practice solutions that improve quality engineering across team or divisional boundaries
  • Demonstrated ability to distinguish between testing layers, match the correct approach to each situation, and design effective quality gates based on these layers.
  • Experience working with container platforms and technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes and cloud deployments
  • Proficient with source control management techniques (including branching, code review, and merging.
  • Customizing deployment, migration, security, and performance in the continuous delivery lifecycle
  • Located in North Carolina
