JOB DESCRIPTIONThis position is responsible for leading all social media marketing efforts such as but not limited to research, strategy and implementation of emerging forms of digital media, social media and mobile communications and paid online advertising. Responsibilities Essential duties include, but are not limited to: Lead strategic efforts for the planning, development and implementation of social media strategies, editorial calendars and tactical plans, ensuring that all social media messages, measurements and content are relevant to the target audienceResponsible for maintenance, engagement and growth strategy of all social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, as well as new/emerging platforms like TikTokResponsible for Social Growth and engagement efficiencies for the brand; Improvement of consumer engagement with current posting strategy to help improve organic reach and lower ad costsMonitor reviews through social media platformsOn an ongoing basis, measure and report performance of all marketing activities, and assets against goals, identify trends and insights, and optimize plan based on these insightsProvide onsite presence for events and activations for content building and live social media engagementStrategize, establish and grow relationships with key influencers in digital space, such as bloggers, high profile followed personalities, entertainers, etc. Stay abreast of trends, technologies and advancements in social, mobile and online review sitesOversee production and implementation of social campaignsMaintain monthly budget for all resort social supportEvaluate and adjust overall guest experiences based on interaction with guests, industry trends and corporate initiativesPartner with advertising team to integrate social media into traditional and digital brand campaignsSupport Hard Rock International initiatives through social campaigns where appropriateServe as the liaison between Human Resources, Seminole Gaming, Internet Marketing, Hard Rock International and other departments as it relates to mobile and social media efforts Train leadership on mobile and social media techniques and share best practices to more effectively engage employees and management on mobile and social media sitesSupport other key marketing efforts as neededQualifications Qualifications: Five (5) years of experience in a similar position and a BS or BA in Business, Advertising or Marketing required, or the equivalent combination of education and experienceMust be able to analyze marketing and promotions dataUnderstand social media universe including Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, blogs, etc. Ability to adapt to the style, tonality and vernacular of the current voice of employee and consumer facing Facebook and other social mediumsAttention to detailHave the ability to exercise a great deal of initiative, forward strategic thinking and independent judgmentMust possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilitiesTechnology savvy with solid understanding of the web, online marketing, direct marketing and best e-mail practices. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Access required. Knowledge in graphic design utilizing Adobe programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc) a plusKnowledge in video production, post-production and editing in Adobe tools such as Premiere and After Effects a plusKnowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Web Design, PHP, ASP. NET, and SQL is a plus. Knowledge and experience in SEO and SEM. Knowledge and experience in web analytical tools is required. Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics experience is preferred. Experience working in Content Management Systems (Sitecore and WordPress) is a plus. Recommended for this position is knowledge and experience working with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (Chrome, IE, Edge, Firefox, Safari, etc. ), current web-design trends, techniques and standards, and the ability to research, recommend and apply new technologies as they emerge is recommended. Experience with Four Winds Interactive digital signage a plus. Experience in working along with and directing an advertising agency or staff requiredCommitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goalsMust present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearanceAbility to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable entertainment experienceEffective communication and time management skills, along with the ability to forecast time management needs of others is requiredMust be flexible in covering events on nights and weekendsMust be able to speak to the general public and/or groups of individualsWork Environment: Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a professional office setting, but there may be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to work standing for long periods of time in a noisy environmentMust be able to continuously maneuver around the office and property, often standing for long hoursMust have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other office equipmentMust be able to respond to visual and aural cuesNative American Preference Policy: The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.
