WHY BOX NEEDS YOU
In Enterprise SaaS, Renewals is the new growth. The existing customer base drives a majority of Box's recurring revenue along with a material amount of net new sales through expansion. At scale, customer retention and expansion is one of the strongest levers for growth. Box is looking for a Renewal Program Manager to join its Global Sales Strategy & Program Management team to focus on the current customer base, particularly on the Renewal motion. This role will partner closely with Renewals, Sales, and CS leadership to ensure we employ the right strategies and programs and tactics around the renewal event to drive overall company growth.
WHO YOU ARE
You are a builder and an optimizer. When you are introduced to something new, you can't help but dig until you understand the complete "why" behind the work. You love deriving actionable insights from data. You can quickly translate strategies and ideas into concrete, actionable steps. Your first instinct is to roll up your sleeves to solve the problem. Most importantly, you derive a huge amount of satisfaction out of improving and streamlining the little things in your work-life - knowing that many small improvements yield massive results. Ideal candidates will either bring deep Sales/Renewals experience as a practitioner with a penchant for strategy and operations, or bring a proven experience as a strategist and operator that can learn the business quickly.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
In this role you'll effectively join two teams - the Global Sales Strategy Team and the Renewals Leadership team. As part of both teams you will:
Inform and drive global renewal strategy
Assist with quarterly and annual organizational planning
Identify, create, operationalize, and cascade new renewal programs and plays to GTM
Perform ad hoc analysis and report generation to find opportunities in our renewals
Run key renewals operational programs
Scope, drive, and track ongoing and new renewal programs
Own the forecasts for a portion of our “Scaled” business, working in conjunction with Business Analytics and other Box teams
Drive cross-functional alignment
Track and ensure alignment on programs that span Sales, Renewals, and CS
Represent the Renewals perspective across various other functions
Here's the Fine Print
5+ years of experience in direct sales or renewals, or experience in an Operations or Consulting role
Ability to constructively challenge assumptions, think strategically, and then translate into action
Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
Independent and motivated to thrive in an ever changing, fast paced environment
Execute projects and initiatives end to end
Head-over-heels about this role — but not sure you meet all the requirements? Apply anyway! Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Box, we take a big-picture approach to hiring that fosters authenticity, diversity, and inclusion. If you're passionate about this opportunity, chances are, you shine pretty bright.
