Overview:
Oasis Systems has an exciting opportunity for Software Engineer located at the USAF Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division in San Antonio, TX.
This position will provide software engineering support to the Cyber Warfare Mission Systems branch of the USAF Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills)
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Top Secret
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE LEVEL: Master’s degree with 12 years of relevant experience, of which 5 or more must be in DoD; or 15 years in lieu of MA/MS, of which 5 or more years must be in DoD; or 20 years relevant experience in lieu of degree, of which 8 must be in DoD.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

Familiar with Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF)-compliant software stack (Kubernetes) and Open Container Initiative (OCI)-compliant containers (Docker).

Knowledgeable in microservices and service mesh (Istio) in Day 2 Ops and production environments.

Well-informed with event-driven architecture/design for microservices (Kafka).

Agile Software Development experience
-
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g. Confluence and JIRA).

Familiar with container creation and security (e.g. zero-trust model, container hardening, security sidecar injection).
- Familiarity with a CI/CD Devops environment

Manage teams to achieve milestones identified during Program Increment Planning Events to ensure capability delivery every three months.
- Secure leading development teams utilizing DevSecOps principles.
- Familiarity with design patterns and microservices architecture

Able to demonstrate intellectual curiosity and always keep technical skills current.
- Comfortable navigating and guiding complex, large scale enterprise applications.
- Be hands-on, close to the technology, and drive the direction of the organization with conviction.
- Demonstrate a startup mindset and forward-leaning vision towards enterprise-grade and enterprise-scale solutions.
- Able to communicate with management, technical staff, and end users in a clear and professional manner.
- Experience with software engineering practices, techniques, and standards.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to develop and present technical presentations.
- Able to represent complex data in diagrams or through other techniques that communicate precise information to both business and technical staff.
- Proven ability to understand the strategic and tactical approach to projects and handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Active interest in new technology and emerging engineering practices
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate current tech solutions and be aware of new technology shaping the cyberspace and software development industry.

Collaborate with cross functional teams in a flat organization to implement new solutions and solve problems.

Support development of overall goals and how technology will factor into key strategic decisions. Work with architecture, engineering, and agile development teams to create a scalable and reliable design of our DevSecOps platform and pipeline to enable CI/CD of distributed software development.

Work with architecture, software engineering, and agile development teams to create a scalable and reliable design of our big data platforms and connecting disparate cyber weapon systems together.

Implement technical solutions related to cybersecurity, software development, product innovation, and risk management.

Build, configure, implement and deploy systems in the cloud environment.

Evaluate, manage, and define cyber requirements for the different service cyber operations personnel. Analyze new technologies and provides a thorough development solution.
