The Attleboro HRPB is responsible for applying business knowledge and human resources expertise by providing a wide range of HR support and advice. This includes, but not limited to, guidance on recruitment, terminations, performance management, employee relations and HR best practices while facilitating a positive relationship between personnel and senior management. The role primarily supports the Attleboro manufacturing site and will report to the Sensing Solutions Business Operations HR Director. The successful candidate will also interact and support the Vice President HRBP for Global Operations in support of functions such as Procurement, Quality, FESH, Logistics, and SIOP. An excellent opportunity to operate at both early career level while also gaining exposure to Global Operations environment.General Responsibilities• Supports employees on issues, including but not limited to; benefits, payroll, and general policy and procedures.• Collaborate with departmental managers to assess employment needs, and participate in recruiting efforts to identify, interview, hire and train qualified candidates.• Organize and update organization charts, employee files, employee information and locate/distribute any documents as needed.• Key participant in developing department goals, objectives and systems.• Knowledgeable in employment, state, federal and local regulations.• Partner with site General Manager and leadership team to develop and implement effective HR policies and practices that will support the strategic growth of operations.• Provide timely information and/or education for all levels on HR issues and processes.• Educate, coach, and partner with site GM and leadership team on performance management and employee development goals.• Provide HR expertise in the areas of feedback, employee relations, development and coaching, compensation, and organizational development.• Participate in the continual development of HR programs aligned to site requirements with the support and collaboration of CoEs, such as recruiting retention, compensation, benefits, and Learning & Development.• Collaborate with the HR team to champion and accelerate a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired to deliver top operational results.• Develop people strategies and design approaches for diagnosing and enhancing operational effectiveness and employee satisfaction.• Lead deployment of core HR processes (performance calibration, compensation cycle, promotions).• Generates, analyzes, and interpret various types of employee reports (e.g., compensation, job grades, attrition, HC evolution, etc.) to guide decision making and provide proactive solutions to their Operations partner (site GM).• Drive performance and talent discussions to build a strong succession plan with site GM.• Influence ethics and compliance culture on site by driving the completion of learning campaigns, follow up on E&C reports (direct to HR and or thru Navex), conduct investigation and follow up on corrective actions (if applicable).Experience / Qualifications• 0-4 years of experience managing HR processes.• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation.• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results.• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity.• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards.• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers.• Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Critical thinker with success in developing innovative solutions to business issues.• Ability to manage multiple, complex issues and prioritize projects/activities concurrently.• Make decisions that effectively incorporate operational context/reality and support necessary collaboration across org boundaries.Preferred Experience And Qualifications• 2-4 years of experience managing HR processes.• Knowledge and experience in the manufacturing industry.Additional Job DescriptionThis position requires eligibility to obtain authorization under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
