About the Role
Data Scientists at Sensor Tower are hybrid Data Scientists and Software Engineers. You would take data all the way from doing initial analysis to building data pipelines to final model implementation and monitoring. Data Scientists take full ownership of the back-end of the products they’re working on. We are looking for a hands-on thinker to help harvest new insights from our constantly growing foundation of quantitative information collected from the mobile app ecosystem.

In this exciting role, you will not only analyze data but also take charge of building data pipelines and implementing models, making your mark on all stages of the product lifecycle. We’re looking for a hands-on thinker who revels in extracting insights from a vast array of quantitative data. You’ll have the opportunity to prototype machine learning models in Python or Ruby, analyze query performance for efficiency, and collaborate closely with both back-end and front-end engineers. Engaging with sales and content teams, your insights will help drive decision-making, while presenting your findings to various stakeholders. You should hold a Master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, or computer science, combined with meaningful experience in data science or analytics, preferably within mobile industries. If you have a knack for coding, an understanding of statistical modeling, and the ability to communicate complex ideas simply, then this position is perfect for you.
