About our hiring partner

Our hiring partner is the leading marketplace that helps online retailers and storefronts dropship products from the world's leading brands, including Apple, Nike, and Balenciaga. They're building the internet's inventory layer that combines the most expansive inventory and the best unit economics with exceptional UX.

They're seeking an ambitious Sr. Product Designer to define, create, and deliver all user-facing aspects of their product. You'll create user-centric experiences that reduce complex workflows to their simplest form, introduce delightful interactions, and ultimately improve users' lives. You'll be responsible for maintaining well-functioning and beautiful products and experiences that users love and are eager to recommend to others while driving measurable outcomes. You'll collaborate closely with a scrappy and collaborative team across the United States and South America, including the Head of Product and software engineers, to create magic and define the next chapter of eCommerce.

Remote (30 hours/week, with potential to increase to full-time)

Key Responsibilities

User-Centered Design: Conduct user research to uncover sharp pain points and craft elegant solutions that resonate with our customers' needs.

UI/UX Design: Translate concepts and PRDs into high-fidelity Figma designs, wireframes, and interactive prototypes that enhance usability and drive business outcomes.

Design Systems: Evolve and define design systems and style guides to ensure product consistency, maintainability, and scalability.

Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with product management and engineering to align design solutions with product strategy, technical feasibility, and business goals.

Agile Workflow: Embrace rapid iteration, continuous feedback, and a data-driven approach to refine designs and ensure seamless implementation in an agile startup environment.

Qualifications

Experience: 6+ years of professional experience in UI/UX or product design roles, preferably within fast-paced startups or consumer technology companies.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with Figma.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You can articulate design decisions clearly and advocate for users' needs.

Collaboration: A proven track record of working closely with cross-functional teams, balancing multiple priorities, and iterating quickly based on feedback.

Adaptability: Comfortable with ambiguity and able to thrive in a lean, fast-moving environment, iterating and experimenting to find the best solutions.

Availability: Available between 9am and 5pm PST across designated working days
