Your Role:


This position provides general manufacturing support to the SLx production department by assisting with various processing steps and by performing routine cleaning and preventive maintenance tasks. Major responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to the following:


  • Assemble small parts in a fast-paced production environment with minimal error and supervision.
  • Transfer piece assembly
  • Universal Stopper Assembly
  • Implant masking
  • Implant rinsing and drying
  • Implant and transfer piece assembly
  • Vial Assembly
  • Vial labeling
  • SLActive box forming
  • SLA box forming
  • Labeling of SLA and SLActive product
  • Final boxing of SLA and SLActive product
  • Routine cleaning and maintenance of tools, fixtures, equipment, and work areas
  • Other SLx department tasks as assigned by the department Line Chief
  • Assisting other production departments as assigned by the department Line Chief


Physical Attributes:


  • Utilize manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Work in a general office and manufacturing environment
  • May be exposed to hazards associated with manufacturing equipment and tools.
  • May be exposed to hazards associated with corrosive chemicals and inert gases.
  • Occasionally lift up to 50 lb (without restriction).


Minimum Qualifications:


  • 18 years of age or older


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Previous medical device manufacturing experience and quality systems compliance
  • Previous experience assembling and packaging small parts
