Smiths Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Business Analyst to join our Business Information Services (BIS) team, based out of our Birmingham office. In this pivotal role, you will drive process automation, enhance customer experiences, and optimise business processes across our global divisions. You’ll work closely with stakeholders from Group and Divisional functions, including Customer Experience (CX), Marketing, Sales, and Aftermarket, to define and implement innovative solutions that support the continuous evolution of our enterprise systems.
This is a permanent position, offering a flexible hybrid working model (typically 3 days in the office – 2 days from home).
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Essential Experience: Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with significant expertise in SAP systems (SAP C4C, SAP ECC, SAP SD) and CX implementations. Transformation/CX experience is essential for this role.
Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with both business and technical teams. Excellent communication skills to present solutions clearly to a range of audiences.
Business Acumen: You have a keen understanding of business processes, ERP systems, and how to leverage technology for business improvement.
Preferred Experience: Experience within the manufacturing/engineering industry, familiarity with Business Process Re-engineering (BPR), and Change Management practices.
