Seasonal Accounting Assistant

GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY: Assist Finance personnel with administrative and accounting responsibilities from May to early August. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Data entry: Excel, Word, and entering Accounts Payable invoices and filing of Checks.
• Assist in Accounting Functions within department including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Cashiering and General Ledger functions
• Preparing reports using Excel and Word. 
• Miscellaneous Projects or Assignments: Invoices filling; Organizing storage area; Delivery of items to Space Needle, Assisting with Cash audits and Research projects. 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Able to commit from June 1 to August 5th without interruption
• Pursuing an Undergraduate Degree in Accounting with a minimum G.P.A. of 3.00. 
• Have Excel and Word Skills
• Verbal and Written Communication skills
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Ethical conduct
• Ability to keep confidential information private
• Quick, accurate keyboard skills and Ten Key by touch
• Ability to learn quickly and retain knowledge
• Willingness to tackle all tasks - large and small
• Enthusiasm and energy
• Team player with professional attitude
• Solid work ethic

Full Time, Hourly Position

Pay Range: $22 - $24 / hour, Depending on Experience
