K-Pop Marketing Producer

We are seeking an experienced Producer for K-Pop content marketing. This is a role for the communicator and problem solver who thrives leading several projects at once; who can deliver end-to-end content across media types, channels (Spotify in-app, TikTok, VLive, YouTube, etc), screens, formats and technologies; and who can collaborate well with others.

As a Producer, you are a strategic problem solver with excellent organizational skills and a well-adapted approach to project/budgets management and communication.


Network and knowledge of K-industry creative production landscape a plus. This international position requires working within a distributed team, leading remote work-streams, partners and technology to deliver assets across time zones. You will be reporting to the Head of K-Pop Marketing Team in Singapore. 


What You'll Do
  • Own overall responsibility for production of all content projects
  • Identify efficient ways to produce and source still and video content for Spotify in-app, YouTube, etc.
  • Build and maintain a database of vendors, crews, and production resources, ensuring access to a diverse pool of capable resources including but not limited to: editors, graphics artists, post houses, animators, sound mixers, shooters, directors etc
  • Lead all aspects of vendors from outreach to engagement and contracting through the project and final reconciliation and billing process
  • Develop series formats that are destined to be housed in Spotify and on Spotify K-Pop YouTube channel
  • Collaborate with diverse teams on briefs, scope, timelines, budgeting, and tracking of multiple projects simultaneously
  • Work with marketing, labels, and external production houses to help brainstorm creative, content concepts and develop plan for execution of creative concepts
  • Lead all aspects of edits and serve as post supervisor/liaison between production team and Marketing teams
  • Handle video archive pulls, footage logs, music licenses, and delivery of content


Who You Are
  • You have a minimum of 7+ years’ experience producing primarily audio content in the branded content, creative agency, radio/podcasting and/or editorial space.
  • Experienced in dealing with and handling third party suppliers/vendors.
  • You understand the mechanics of audio and video production and can implement as well as comfortably scope and budget proposed programs autonomously.
  • You have a deep understanding of and enthusiasm for K-pop music, culture, technology, design, audio and video content, and branding.
  • You have experience at recording and producing live audio ads.
  • You’re passionate about the Spotify platform; our content, data, tools, and products.
  • You are a very creative and compelling storyteller and at ease pitching your work and inspiring action.
  • You are process-oriented and excel in translating one off’s into scalable and repeatable processes.
  • You exhibit curiosity, proactively tackle problems, are extensively detail oriented, and collaborate with both patient and positive attitude to get things done.
  • You are able to work alone and handle your own time, team members, and accountabilities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • You’re flexible to work hours required for production and frequently travel.
  • Good-to-have: Proficiency in A/V platforms, including audio-based editing programs (ProTools, Audition, Hindenburg, etc.), Adobe Creative Suite, video-based editing programs (Final Cut, Premiere, etc.).
