Staff Software Engineer, Stealth Venture

Spring Health is seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer to work on a high-impact mental health product within a dynamic, agile team environment. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader passionate about innovation and driving strategic architecture decisions.

Skills

  • Deep understanding of modern healthcare SaaS platforms and architecture
  • Experience in AI/ML tools
  • Experience in mental health technology
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive rapid execution
  • Technical leadership experience in an early-stage startup environment

Responsibilities

  • Drive a 0-1 high-impact product initiative
  • Mentor team members on maintaining and improving quality
  • Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for rapid innovation
  • Set technical standards and vision in partnership with leadership
  • Identify process improvements and exhibit leadership
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs in project delivery

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
