As a crucial member of our quality engineering team, you’ll dive into complex quality inspections and maintain stringent oversight of space flight hardware manufacturing. You'll be the kind of person who can independently validate established criteria and carry out intricate inspections without needing additional guidance. Not only will you monitor contractor controls and oversee quality assurance activities during fabrication and testing, but you'll also have the exciting opportunity to engage with the Material Review and Anomaly Review Boards. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders including on-site Government personnel will be key in making sound quality decisions that impact missions. With 15 years of experience in the manufacture, assembly, or quality assurance of space flight hardware and various relevant NASA certifications under your belt, you’ll ensure that all mandatory inspection requirements are met.
