🔎 Immediate Opportunity for a Scrum Master!  

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to support a high-impact modernization project on a short-term contract (4-months) in Downtown Toronto.

📍 Work Type:   

  • Hybrid (2-3 days per week required in the office) 
  • Office Location: Toronto, Ontario  
  • Contract Length: 4-Months, with the possibility of extension (must be incorporated) 

🎯 What You’ll Do (Your Superpowers): 

  • Guide and coach the Scrum Team on using Agile practices and principles to deliver high-quality products and services to our customers
  • Elevate the team to a high-performing level by recognizing strengths and areas for improvement and applying appropriate coaching and development techniques
  • Ensure Scrum is understood and that the team adheres to Scrum theory, practices, and guidelines
  • Coach the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skills, and domain knowledge while ensuring effective communication both internally and externally
  • Collaborate with the Scrum Team and stakeholders to influence decision-making and support organizational project or product teams
  • Resolve team impediments in collaboration with other Scrum Masters to enhance the effectiveness of Scrum practices across the organization
  • Work with Agile coaches and Scrum Masters to grow and develop within the role
  • Contribute to the improvement and advancement of Agile practices within the organization
  • Facilitate and support all Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives
  • Lead and support Agile teams, coaching them through critical departmental initiatives and projects 
  • Adhere to policies and procedures to ensure AML requirements are met, when applicable

What We’re Looking For (Our Wishlist): 

  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Strong familiarity with Agile tools and techniques, with experience in using tools such as Microsoft Azure DevOps considered an asset
  • Working knowledge of software development and testing fundamentals, with an understanding of modern and legacy technologies
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively
  • Outstanding presentation and leadership abilities, capable of facilitating business meetings and design sessions with diverse teams
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on troubleshooting and critical thinking
  • Creative thinker with a visionary mindset, able to innovate and drive improvements
  • Able to transfer business requirements into actionable processes and explain them to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to create clear and concise documentation, including process flows and technical specifications
  • Ability to build strong relationships and foster a team-oriented atmosphere
