Senior Initiatives Leader, Wichita

As a Senior Initiatives Leader on our Wichita team, you will play a pivotal role in fostering transformative change in Wichita and scaling insights to other cities. This position requires a curious, intentional, and creative individual who excels at building trust-based relationships, uncovering partner needs, and driving mutually beneficial outcomes.

 

The successful individual in this position will cultivate empowering relationships with and among our community of changemakers and social entrepreneurs and guide these Catalysts (nonprofit partner organizations) to mutually valuable opportunities throughout the Stand Together Foundation (STF) community.


How You Will Contribute
  • Develop and manage a dynamic and interactive community of partners who are each fulfilled in their partnership with Stand Together Foundation and productively engaged in one or more key initiatives including neighborhood transformation, child & family well-being, addiction, entrepreneurship and social service measurement.
  • Build strong, deep and lasting relationships with our Catalysts to continually understand and reevaluate their needs and develop corresponding action plans for success. 
  • Collaborate internally with key stakeholders to align initiatives, fostering proactive engagement and shared goals.
  • Serve as a Principle Based Management coach and advisor to ensure PBM is utilized at the forefront of all our efforts.
  • Perform investment analysis to make grant recommendations and steward grant performance.
  • Facilitate group sessions and community-wide working groups to solicit and share ideas and knowledge with community partners.
  • Manage concurrent projects, ensuring clear communication and progress across stakeholder groups.
  • Seek to understand partner goals and develop a point of view on how to create value for each partner to drive progress against shared goals. 
  • Quantify and share learnings and best practices from our Wichita initiatives with the broader national city strategy team.


What You Will Bring
  • At least 5+ years of professional experience in non-profit leadership, sales, customer success management, events/hospitality management, or a principle-based management culture.
  • Proven ability to earn and gain trust among peer groups and customers, exercising a high-degree of discretion at all times. 
  • Strong project management skills with examples of driving projects through completion.
  • Intentional, radically curious, and customer-focused approach to relationship building.
  • Standout candidates will bring experience applying formal methodologies, frameworks, or systems (ie. CRM systems, moves management) to organize a thoughtful approach to relationship management.
  • Enthusiasm to contribute to Stand Together's vision and principled approach to solving problems, and a commitment to stewarding our culture, which champions values including transformation and innovation, entrepreneurialism, humility, and respect.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% travel.
