To submit an application, click "Apply" on the job listing page on the State Farm career site.For California, New York, and Connecticut candidates:Potential salary range: $75,260.25-$177,500.00Potential yearly incentive pay: up to 15% of base salaryCompetitive Benefits, including:401k PlanHealth InsuranceDental/Vision plansLife InsurancePaid Time OffAnnual Merit IncreasesTuition ReimbursementHealth InitiativesFor more details visit our benefits summary pageResponsibilitiesThe Marketing Science Analyst is responsible for insights, optimization, performance measurement, advanced statistical analysis, experimental design & testing, and next-step recommendations for lower/mid-funnel marketing tactics.We're looking for a candidate with experience in conducting formal analyses and reporting on marketing tactics, with an emphasis on direct marketing (email, text, and direct), as well as having an understanding of how machine learning models can be leveraged in tactical executions.As a Marketing Science Analyst, you will get to:• Work closely with business partners to define tactic goals and objectives.• Leverage data to derive insights and inform marketing tactic execution.• Employ analytical and quantitative skills by using data and metrics to test theories, confirm assumptions, generate insights/recommendations, and measure success.• Compile, prepare, and translate complex data into concise reports and dashboards that provide insights and informs next-step actions.• Identify opportunities for increasing efficiency and consistency within work processes.• Remain current on industry trends and brings forward opportunities for innovation.Qualifications• Ability to extract, manipulate and analyze large and complex sets of data to provide business insights across a broad range of needs and target audiences.• Experience conducting assessments of lower/mid funnel marketing performance with an emphasis on direct marketing channels.• Working knowledge of experimental design and other advanced statistical techniques.• Experience producing reports and dashboards using business intelligence and visualization tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Tableau, QlikView, PowerBI, etc).• Experience working across multiple computing platforms and operating systems, with an emphasis on AWS, but including other platforms as well (such as Hadoop or DB2).• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or SAS, or an ability to readily acquire proficiency based on experience with comparable programming/querying languages.• Ability to work effectively, both individually and as a member of a project team.• Ability to collaborate across organizational departments, build relationships, and present to a variety of audiences at all levels of the enterprise.#LI-BS1SFARM#LI-Hybrid#LI-Remote
