This position will serve as the Grants Program Manager for the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation. This position is the point of contact for the agency's State, Federal, and other awarded grants. This position is responsible for preparing, submitting, maintaining, and communicating grant related matters for the agency and working with internal and external partners on grant related matters. This position is responsible for seeking, researching, and coordinating with external stakeholders grant sources that match programmatic needs. Job responsibilities include the following:• Prepare and submit grant applications.• Financial monitoring, reporting and allocation of grant funds in conjunction with the agency’s Business Office.• Work with the agency’s Business Office to establish cost centers for grant funds.• Request, establish, and reallocate funds within grant budgets and submission of expenditures against the grants.• Coordinate, review, evaluate, and audit grant recipients for compliance and accuracy.• Monitor grant activity to ensure compliance with all regulations, Federal and North Carolina general statutes, and best practices.• Review all reimbursement requests, grant adjustment requests, progress reports, contracts, fund/match utilization rates, and program reports for accuracy and approval.• Make recommendations concerning possible additions and reversions of grant funds.• Provide counsel to internal and external customers regarding procedures, statutory requirements, risk assessments, contracts, invoices, reports and/or bids.This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with Benefits.Learn more about the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation by visiting our website: https://www.ncsbi.gov/.The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities listed below, along with the Minimum Education and Experience requirements, are REQUIRED to qualify for this position.
